Wish

Consumer / Lifestyle / Social

Wish is a personal wishlist app that allows people to collect their wishes in one place and share them with friends and family. In this project, I was responsible for the product’s visual and interface design, focusing on clarity, simplicity, and ease of use. The goal was to create a calm and intuitive experience that helps users easily add wishes, organize them, and share their lists without friction.

Project Task

Design a wishlist product that: • clearly communicates its purpose and core value • allows users to easily create and manage wishlists • makes adding wishes fast and intuitive • supports effortless sharing with friends and family • maintains a consistent and friendly visual language The product needed to feel simple, warm, and approachable, without overwhelming users with unnecessary features or complexity.

Solution

The design focuses on clarity, simplicity, and emotional comfort. Clean layouts and a clear visual hierarchy guide users through the experience naturally, helping them understand the product without explanation. Each screen is centered around a single primary action, making interactions feel lightweight and intuitive. Soft visual accents, balanced spacing, and minimal interface elements reduce visual noise and create a calm rhythm. The result is an interface that feels personal, easy to use, and natural to share, supporting everyday use without friction.

UI kit

I created a compact UI kit to ensure visual consistency across the product. It includes core interface elements such as buttons, inputs, typography styles, color accents, and basic components used throughout the app. The kit was designed to keep the interface calm and cohesive, while allowing flexibility for future screens and features. Clear rules for spacing, hierarchy, and states help maintain a consistent user experience as the product grows.

Login & Registration screens

These screens introduce users to the app with a gentle, inviting entry flow. I focused on clear hierarchy and minimal input fields to make logging in or signing up feel easy and unobtrusive. The layout guides attention toward the primary action while keeping the experience calm and welcoming.

Profile page & account settings

The profile and account settings were restructured to simplify user management. I focused on creating a clear layout where personal info, preferences, and security options are easy to access. Subtle visual cues guide users through updates without confusion, keeping the interface clean and approachable.

Gift details

For the gift details screen, I emphasized clear presentation of all relevant information, including images, description, and purchase links. I worked on creating a visually balanced layout that allows users to understand the gift at a glance, while also maintaining an engaging and approachable design.

Add collection

Adding a new collection was made effortless by organizing the process step by step. I designed intuitive fields and interactive elements, so users can name collections, add items, and tweak settings seamlessly, all while keeping the design consistent with the app’s style.

Wish card (detailed view / popup)

Clicking on a wish opens a detailed popup that immerses users in the content. I focused on clear hierarchy, interactive actions, and subtle micro-interactions to make browsing, taking notes, and exploring each wish straightforward and engaging.

Result

Throughout this project, I collaborated closely with developers, working as part of a small team to bring the idea to life as a real product. The concept was born from a clear gap in the local market, the lack of a truly convenient and thoughtfully designed wishlist experience. By focusing on structure, interactions, and visual balance, we aimed to create an intuitive solution that feels simple, personal, and easy to use. The project is currently in development and will be launched soon.
